The IRONBEES is a community website for triathletes and trail runners in Chiang Mai. This site is intentionally simple, and it collects as little information as possible.
Analytics
We use Fathom Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless analytics tool, to understand which articles are useful. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not track you across other sites — it only records anonymous, aggregate figures such as page views and a rough (country-level) location. It does not ask you to create an account, and we never sell your data, ever.
That Fathom link is also an affiliate/referral link: if you sign up through it we may earn a small credit, at no extra cost to you. We recommend Fathom simply because it is the analytics tool actually running on this site.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and our analytics are cookieless. The only thing we keep in your browser is your light/dark theme preference, so the site can remember it on your next visit.
If you email us at [email protected], we receive your message and email address so we can reply. We keep those messages only as long as needed to help you.
Facebook and Strava
Our community lives on Facebook and Strava. When you join those groups you are subject to their own privacy policies, not ours. We never see more than what those platforms show any group organiser.
Links to other sites
We sometimes link to maps, race organisers, and local resources. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
